Account Executive

Position available in our Delphos office

Job Description

Develop leads and contact them via phone or face to face to market insurance products. Service existing clients, conduct reviews, and seek opportunities to enhance their insurance portfolio.

Key Resonsibilities

  • Ability to network and develop leads.
  • Establish contact, schedule appointments. Meet with prospective clients.
  • Write the business.
  • Loading prospect information into management system.
  • Marketing and placement of new business.
  • Review with carrier/underwriting – pricing / additional coverages / etc.
  • Preparing proposal information.
  • Closing the sale and obtaining signatures.
  • Submitting the business to the carrier.
  • Loading of policy shell into the management system, attaching documents & thorough documentation in management system.
  • Work with account manager to provide claims assistance to clients as needed.
  • Attend team meetings.
  • Maintain familiarity with trends in the industry as well as new insurance products.
  • Service and assist clients as necessary.
  • Support account managers with current book of business.
  • Meet production requirements.


  • Obtain state insurance licensing & ability to pass a background check.
  • Meet state continuing education requirements.
  • Demonstrate great service skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Above average analytical skills to determine the prospects needs.
